My challenge was to design a food order customisation app for a sushi restaurant. I recruited 4 participants based in the UK and US to find out how they ordered sushi and their experiences of eating at sushi restaurants.

Here are the empathy maps that I created for 3 of the interviews.

Participant 1: J.L, age 30, works in transport solutions, lives in the UK

Participant 2: M.T, age 38, works in event management, lives in the UK

Participant 3: P.M, age 33, works as a consultant, lives in the US
